Notice of Privacy Practices
Inner Connections Coaching & Counseling respects the privacy and confidentiality of client information. Protected health information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and professional requirements. Clients receive a full Notice of Privacy Practices explaining how health information may be used or disclosed, clients' rights regarding their records, and how to ask questions or raise privacy concerns. The full Notice of Privacy Practices is provided during the intake process.
We provide counseling services to adults, teens, children, couples, and families through telehealth.
Services may be provided through Inner Connections Coaching & Counseling directly or through Headway. Headway is a separate third-party platform and is not part of Inner Connections Coaching & Counseling.

Financial & Payment Policy
Your scheduling, insurance, billing, and payment procedures may vary depending on which arrangement is being used for your services. Insurance coverage and benefits vary by individual plan. Verification of benefits is provided as a courtesy and is not a guarantee of coverage or payment.
Clients may be responsible for copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, noncovered services, or other amounts determined by their insurance plan. Please provide accurate, current insurance information and notify the appropriate billing provider if your insurance changes.
Services Through Headway
Some clients may receive services for me through Headway, a separate third-party behavioral health platform. For sessions designated for Headway, applicable insurance claims, billing, payment collection, invoices, and related administrative processes are handled according to Headway's procedures.
Clients receiving Headway-billed services should maintain their insurance and payment information through their Headway account and follow Headway's billing instructions.
Please do not make a separate direct payment to Inner Connections Coaching & Counseling for a Headway-billed session unless you have specifically been instructed to do so. Direct Practice & Private-Pay Services
For services billed directly through Inner Connections Coaching & Counseling, the standard private-pay rate is: $120 per session unless another rate has been agreed upon in writing.
Direct payment methods may include:
Cash • Credit Card • Online Payment • FSA/HSA • Zelle • Cash App
Insurance may also be billed directly when an applicable arrangement exists.
Secure Card Payments Through Ivy Pay
For certain services billed directly through Inner Connections Coaching & Counseling, electronic card payments may be processed through Ivy Pay, a separate third-party payment service designed for therapists. Ivy Pay describes its service as designed to be HIPAA-secure and provides a Business Associate Agreement to qualified therapist users. Ivy Pay maintains its own terms, privacy practices, and payment procedures.
**Please do not include diagnoses, treatment details, or unnecessary confidential information in payment notes or payment-related communications.**

Good Faith Estimate
Clients who do not have insurance or who choose not to use insurance may have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of scheduled healthcare services under applicable federal requirements.
A Good Faith Estimate is based on the information available when the estimate is prepared. Actual treatment needs and charges may change.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Clients are asked to provide at least 24 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.
Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a fee according to the policy applicable to your service arrangement. Insurance generally does not cover missed-appointment fees.
Clients receiving services through Headway should also follow the cancellation and billing procedures associated with their Headway appointments.
Privacy & Electronic Communication
Inner Connections Coaching & Counseling is committed to protecting client privacy and confidentiality.
Please do not send diagnoses, detailed treatment information, payment-card information, or other sensitive health information through ordinary website forms, standard email, social media, or payment notes.
Clients should use designated secure communication methods when provided.
